Letter, 1866.

A letter from Mrs. Arminda Millis, Jasper, Georgia, requesting information about James Millis, who was to return to Jasper but hasn't and she has heard that he is in Byron and has married someone there. Mix replies on the back of her letter and informs her that Millis lived there until he was transferred from the 34th Illinois Infantry to the 78th and his whereabouts are no longer known. States that he could not vouch for his character and that he had not married while living there.
